Hello peeps! This is my first blog entry and what I'm about to write is just my opinion, so you can agree on it or not, it’s up to you.
So, what is a loli?

Loli doesn’t need to be an underage girl, it just stands for a girl that looks really young (like a child). Some people even say that a girl that's acting childish is “loli”, but I think most people use that word only to describe a young looking girl. How come? Well because, as we learned through anime and manga, there are all sorts of typical personalities such as: yandere, tsundere, deredere and much more… this means that a loli doesn’t need to be childish and can still act as an adult if her character is of that type. Lolis are, naturally, short and are, well... flat (tho I guess they can still have a bit bigger breasts, but this is the original definition I had in mind).

In the cosplay community there are a lot of loli cosplayers (including myself, appearance-wise) , who still can cosplay any character they want (it’s always up to them of course), yet for me, it’s a bit more comfortable to go with lolis, shotas and some really moe girls when picking a character I am to cosplay.
Another thing loli can stand for is Lolita, yet usually everyone uses only "Lolita" when they want to describe a fashion style. Regardless, you need to respect that there are girls who look loli, but aren't comfortable with it, so you shouldn't go around telling girls of younger appearance “mmm you’re a loli hello!” because it can make them uncomfortable, so just don’t.

This isn’t a really big topic tho, I just wanted to share my opinion on this. Thank you for reading!
