Ok so this might be a bit long.
2012 was a year when I did my first cosplay! I was Lucy from Elfen Lied~
Back in those days we didn't have acces s to other sites such as ebay or aliexpress, so I bought a cheap chinese wig and basically did this cosplay in like 2 days? It didn't take too much effort and my only goal was to go and have fun! I did, and I really met some great people who still keep cosplaying since then. After this I've learned a lot of stuff about cosplay, makeup, costmes, wigs, props etc. and upgraded myself as much as I could. The main problem for anyone in cosplay community is money... Mostly for teens whose parents don't even want to hear about paying and wasting money on something like this, yet I managed somehow and now I, if everything goes well, will get a job and show what I can really do too, so my passion for cosplay will last.
I really can't describe how much cosplay changed me when it comes to being social and having more than 2 friends. It also helped me lose weight so I can be more confident about myself, but yes, even now, there are still some stuff I want to fix about myself and my costumes, tho no matter what I won't lose this sense of fun~ thank you all for being there for me
